The Australian Amateur Band Plan – 10M

The 10M band is accessible to all licence classes

  • Transmission bandwidth should not exceed 16 KHz
  • Foundation operators are limited in power output to 10 Watts pX
  • Standard operators using emission modes J3E or R3E are limited to 100 watts pX
  • Standard operators using other modes are limited to 30 watts pY
  • Advanced operators using emission modes J3E or R3E are limited to 400 watts pX
  • Advanced operators using other modes are limited to 120 watts pY
  • 28.000 – 29.700 MHz is a Primary Amateur allocation
  • 28.0000 to 28.070 MHz and 28.300 to 29.100 is available for CW operation
  • 28.070 to 28.190 MHz is available for Digital modes
  • 28.300 to 29.100 MHz is available for SSB operation
  • 28.190 to 28.300 MHz is reserved for Beacons
  • 29.000 to 29.100 MHz is recommended for AM operation
  • 29.100 to 29.290 MHz is available for FM wide band Simplex operation
  • 29.300 to 29.510 MHz is reserved for Amateur satellites
  • 29.510 to 29.700 MHz is available for FM wide band Simplex operation
  • 29.520 to 29.580 MHz is available for FM Repeater Inputs
  • 29.620 to 29.680 MHz is available for FM Repeater Outputs
