The Australian Amateur Band Plan – 15M

The 15M band is accessible to all licence classes

  • Transmission bandwidth should not exceed 8KHz
  • Foundation operators are limited in power output to 10 Watts pX
  • Standard operators using emission modes J3E or R3E are limited to 100 watts pX
  • Standard operators using other modes are limited to 30 watts pY
  • Advanced operators using emission modes J3E or R3E are limited to 400 watts pX
  • Advanced operators using other modes are limited to 120 watts pY
  • 21.000 – 21.450 MHz is a Primary Amateur allocation
  • 21.000 to 21.450 MHz is available for CW operation
  • 21.070 to 21.150 MHz is available for Digital modes
  • 21.150 to 21.450 MHz is available for SSB operation
  • 21.150 is reserved for Beacons
