The Australian Amateur Band Plan – 17M
The 17M band is accessible to the Advanced licence class only
- Transmission bandwidth should not exceed 8KHz
- Advanced operators using emission modes J3E or R3E are limited to 400 watts pX
- Advanced operators using other modes are limited to 120 watts pY

- 18.068 – 18.168 MHz is a Primary Amateur allocation
- 18.068 to 18.168 MHz is available for CW operation
- 18.095 to 18.120 MHz is available for Digital modes
- 18.110 to 18.168 MHz is available for SSB operation
- 18.110 is reserved for Beacons
