The Australian Amateur Band Plan – 20M

The 20M band is accessible to Standard and Advanced licence classes

  • Transmission bandwidth should not exceed 8KHz
  • Standard operators using emission modes J3E or R3E are limited to 100 watts pX
  • Standard operators using other modes are limited to 30 watts pY
  • Advanced operators using emission modes J3E or R3E are limited to 400 watts pX
  • Advanced operators using other modes are limited to 120 watts pY
  • 14.000 – 14.350 MHz is a Primary Amateur allocation
  • 14.000 to 14.350 MHz is available for CW operation
  • 14.070 to 14.112 MHz is available for Digital modes
  • 14.112 to 14.350 MHz is available for SSB operation
