The Australian Amateur Band Plan – 3cm

The 3cm band is accessible the Advanced licence class only

  • Transmission bandwidth is not limited
  • Advanced operators using modes C3F or J3E or R3E are limited to 400 watts pX
  • Advanced operators using other modes are limited to 120 watts pY
  • 10.000 – 10.500 GHz is a Secondary Amateur Allocation
  • 10.000 to 10.160 GHz may be used for any mode
  • 10.160 to 10.360 GHz is reserved for wide band modes
  • 10.360 to 10.368 GHz may be used for any mode
  • 10.368 to 10.370 GHz is reserved for narrow band modes
  • 10.370 to 10.372 GHz is reserved for FM Simplex. (Suggested channel spacing is 100KHz)
  • 10.372 to 10.380 GHz is may be used for any mode
  • 10.380 to 10.440 GHz is reserved for wide band modes
  • 10.440 to 10.488 GHz may be used for any mode
  • 10.488 to 10.450 GHz is reserved for narrow band modes
  • 10.450 to 10.500 GHz is reserved for satellite operation
